Alyosha’s School Picture
Isn’t he so sweet that you want to cry? Roma thinks he looks like he is fake smiling but I think it looks like he is laughing.
Here are some ‘kid talk’ tidbits from the past week:
Sorry for the potty talk, but Luka was hilarious! He runs out of his room desperately saying where is the potty, I have to poop! Then he makes a little Luka toot, and says “oh, it’s just toots!” and he goes back to his room to play.
Luka “Mama, it is clocked—can you please open the door, it’s clocked.”
Alyosha came in scratching his leg: “Mama, something is porcupining me in my leg.”
The best: Occasionally when Luka looks in the mirror at himself he says. “Look, I’m happy!”

Jackie Hardin Darling picture, Jennifer. Thanks for sharing all those funny things your little ones say. I love it.
Jennifer Kultajev Thanks Jackie! They say so many hilarious things I have to write them down right when they say it to remember them. Sometimes it reminds me of teaching Jr. High kids, you can't help but laugh at their view of the world. The best thing is that they are so genuine. It actually reminds me to look at the world from their view sometimes because it is just 'happy' like Luka puts it. We should all look in the mirror and realize we are happy!
Anjali Rathore Amen to that, they do so wll with their'happy worldview ,is it not ironic that when they get socialized ,learn rules, crimes happen, maybe we should hold on to that child in all of us and be just happy as Luka said.
What happened to the little boy? Aleks looks so grown up ; and so very handsome. We miss you all.
Amy Moritz Galindo if only i could have remembered that exact sentiment into adulthood maybe i wouldn't have had so many heart aches...a friend of mine says that we are all about as happy as we want to be... & in this last couple of years i have come to know how true that really is.....
