Non-profit job market

If you thought the non-profit job market was not as competitive as for-profit one - think again. Yesterday, Associated Press wrote about a UNDP employee (United Nations Development Programme) biting UN guards when they tried to remove him from the building. The guy spent almost seven years working for his boss and was laid off to make room for some UN big wig's daughter. According to the victim (yes, victim here is the one who bit the guard) he found an evidence of nepotism in the letters of his boss, and this was the reason for letting him go. The victim also had his wife employed at UNDP... I wonder if she kept her job.
What can I say... two things:
1) saving-the-world is a family business
2) I always said that reading someone else's correspondences is going to get you in trouble.
