Breast Cancer 3-Day The Udder Girls

My Mom is preparing to walk in the 3-Day, 60-mile walk--on a team called "The Udder Girls". She must gather $2,200 to donate to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. The Dallas/Ft. Worth Breast Cancer 3-Day will begin on October 26th--so she has a while to get donations--but any help will be a great help! Here is her letter and at the bottom there is a link where, if you can, you can donate as little as $5.00 or as much as you can!

Hello.

Eleven years ago I lost my mother to cancer. My husband and I have walked for cancer in my hometown of Graham and plan on doing that agin this year. I now have an opportunity to participate in an event to help cure breast cancer.

It's called the Breast Cancer 3-Day. I am going to be walking (or crawling) 60 miles over the course of three days, for a cause devoted to helping women discover breast cancer early enough to beat it and committed to finally finding a cure. As a condition of participation, I must raise at least $2,200. Proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

So, yes, this is a plea for your emotional and financial support. A dollar for every mile that I'll be walking would be wonderful. I thank you in advance for whatever you can give.
