The 100th blog

Well, we have been doing blogger for a year now. It is a great way to keep the past in little chunks of photographs and video. I wish that I had the time and energy to write words to describe the deatils of what is going on. It would probably make everything be a lot more interesting to use your imagination to make a picture in your mind.

Like today was one of the first days that start to give the hint that the long damp cold winter is ending and there is hope that something brighter and better is coming along. It was just a small glimpse of the warmness of summer and the rebirth of spring. Even with 70 degree (+21) air and the little buds on the tree just waiting to burst out, the large dark clouds still loomed in the sky reminding us that it really it still winter. Yet, you can really see that just the promise of beauty to come has a wonderful affect on people all around you. I can't wait for camping, and dancing in the evening's warm air, and seeing a hundred preschoolers playing at Jamison park, and the warm sand beside the little lakes and office workers finally able to sit outside to enjoy their lunches, and the beautiful blooming flowers and the spring trees blooming their fragrant flowers and kids filling the playground every evening. Today is proof that spring is coming like a diesel freight engine that can't be stopped--and we are ready for it!

I guess with our pictures you still only see little fragments of our life that imagination must fill in the gaps. Anyway, I am glad that our little family has our life together. I am glad that we can look back in our minds and remember the past year--and I am glad that we have made a way to look back in picture to remind us of some details that we may have forgotten. Maybe, someday soon, we will make time to reflect more and write more.
