Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Here are a few quick pictures to share of us decorating the tree last night and a few from this morning too. (I just had to add in the one with each of the kids sleeping--they can sleep in any position, can't they)

We are feeling good and I think that we are making progress on managing eating, sleeping, changing diapers, reading books and trying to keep everything in semi-order.

Romka is managing too, somehow! We let him go to work this afternoon (he is grocery shopping with Alyosha right now). He has a paper to write for one class--after that is finished, hopefully he will be able to relax and really enjoy how wonderful everything is. (Although, I think that he does enjoy every night when all four of us are cuddled into our bed. Aleks is sure enjoying sleeping in the middle---he has one hand in Romka's hair and one hand in my hair, just twisting away in his sleep.)

Up close

Luka is just eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping and sleeping and sleeping and eating. So far he is just beautiful and a wonderful little baby. Aleks is excited to have his little brother and wants to hold him all the time. I (Jen, aka Mama) am feeling fine and recovering smoothly thanks to my parents help! My Mom just left today and my Dad the day before yesterday--so now Romka and I are left here with two amazing little boys--hopefully we can handle it!

Ну наконец-то чудо свершилось!!!
Сегодня, в 3 утра по Портлендскому времени на свет родился Лука. Малыш весит 9 фунтов и 8 унций (4300 грамм), ростом 22 дюйма (56 см), настоящий богатырь, даже Алёшку переплюнул по всем параметрам. На вид нормальный малыш, с апетитом таким, что держись, на грудь лёг через 15 секунд после родов, а через некоторое время уже сосал молоко.

Женечка показала себя настоящей героиней при родах, выдержав 33 часовые схватки и 3 часовые роды, справившись со всем натурально. На последнем этапе я не мог её узнать, столько желания было у неё родить самостоятельно, что она даже на меня покрикивала, если я вовремя не успевал выполнять свои обязанности, типа там поддерживать голову или руку.

Продробности позже, пора бежать снова в роддом, после обеденного сна с Алёшкой.

Yes, still pregnant! Thank goodness that Grandma and Grandpa are here! Romka is still working hard trying to finish his school work before the baby comes--Aleks is having a great time with his Grandparents--My parents are taking care of everyone and I am just trying to go into labor!

Probably this time next week we will have another little boy--

No Baby Yet!!!

Yes, the due date was the 28th of November...but our babies like to be fashionably late. Hopefully that will be soon---stay tuned for updates.

Romka is busy busy busy with work and the end of the school semester. Luckily Jen's parents made it (Mama on Wednesday and Daddy yesterday) and they are taking care of us and helping us wait!
