A big finish
The next few days are going to go fast and be great. Let's start with the past, and then move on to the future:
Roma arrived a week ago, adding to the Kultajev family insanity. We picnicked on the sea (it was cool and sunny—which made the air fresh and the day beautiful). Everyone who was here came and had sausages and salad and we even grilled leftover pizza! We visited with Babushka, reminisced about old times while walking through the city, and danced with friends. All in all it has been a great visit—
Tomorrow Romka and I will leave in the morning for Tallinn to pick up Steve and Rosi (Jen’s parents) Since they are only staying for 3 full days in Sillamae, the time has been planned to the minute—and we are going to be busy every waking one! For the first time in 7 years and in the over 2 that I have lived in Estonia—I will have a car to drive around in! The country seems so different when viewed from the frame of a windshield.
Needless to say everyone is excited about the Texans coming to visit, and I am sure while Roma and I are in Tallinn (Yes, I know I left out Aleks! He is staying with Gala and Rudolf all day… “wooooow” to quote Aloysha.) I am sure while we are in Tallinn the town of Sillamae will be in a cyclone of preparation.
