Russian school Harvest Festival

Aleksei's Russian school had a little celebration for the fall harvest. I think that it is wonderful to be living in a farming region that produces so much--and that many people embrace this local produce. (even though we had to 'embrace' it with a million other people by waiting in traffic last weekend...) We are able to have so much more appreciation for the food that we eat since we see how it grows and where it comes from. The kids had a good time singing songs and feeding the goats carrots.
